While we all do our part practicing social distanc While we all do our part practicing social distancing for the well-being of others, there is a shift taking place. This shift has allowed us a pause, to slow down to reflect on our blessings and what is important in our lives. It has allowed us time to catch up with our families and friends vs saying "I don’t have time or I’ll have to call you later". Time to learn something new, grow, sharpen our skills vs rushing through life just to get everything done. Time for purposeful eating, building healthy bodies vs grabbing that not-so-healthy food choice in order to make the next meeting. Time for relaxation, wearing our comfortable clothes vs hours of planning and stressing about what to wear looking just right. Time for that much-needed rest and sleeping-in vs running out the door with only 4-5 hours sleep the night before. I don’t know about you, but I like this new shift of being kind to ourselves, our friends and families, growing, finding peace, and enjoying the calm. There are still unknowns the weeks ahead so at this time, be easy and tender on yourself. What are you doing with your new time?
