Houston Street Art: An Urban Masterpiece

Most of us have heard of Banksy but have you heard of Gonzo or Daniel Anguilu?  They are Houston’s local street artists.   Street art is a vivid and dynamic art form and our city is it’s outdoor museum.  There is a transformative power to street art – it can transform a space, connect people and revitalize an area.  What was once considered an act of vandalism is now a celebrated form of public art.  In fact, artists from all over the world have traveled to Houston to share their gifts with us.  LGG combed the city for some of Houston’s most colorful, creative pieces and share them with you here.  Do a street art safari of your own with your gal pals, family and out of town visitors! The list is organized by part of town.
