The 10th annual Galveston Island Wine Festival returns with all your favorite events and new wines, April 26-27, 2019.

-Event: Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Dinner:

Location: American National Insurance Co. 21st Floor.

The invitation-only dinner guests will blind taste the top 3 red and top 3 whites to determine the Grand Champion, Grand Reserve Champion and Reserve Champion. The Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs™ is the oldest and largest food and wine society in the world.

Premium Wine Tasting:

Location: Saengerfest Park

The Premium Wine Tasting and Pairing returns this year for the true gourmand. Guests will enjoy premium wines from vineyards around the world.

The Grand Tasting:

Location: Saengerfest Park

The Grand Tasting is the highlight of the festival. Patrons will embark on a tasting trip through vineyards from all around the world, enjoying approximately 100 wines. The fantastic live music and endless wine sampling in the park will complete this afternoon of indulgences.

Austin Food and Wine Festival @ Auditorium Shores

The Austin Food + Wine Festival marks a collaboration between C3 Presents and some of Texas’ most celebrated chefs and restaurateurs, including Tim Love, Iron Chef Champion and Owner/Chef of Queenie’s Steakhouse, The Lonesome Dove Western Bistro, and The Love Shack in Fort Worth; Tyson Cole, the James Beard Foundation Award-winning Owner/Chef of Uchi and Uchiko in Austin; and Jesse Herman, owner of the James Beard Foundation-nominated La Condesa in Austin/Napa. C3 is the Austin-based producer of Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits Music Festival.

A portion of the Festival’s proceeds will benefit The Austin Food & Wine Alliance, dedicated to fostering awareness and innovation in the Central Texas food and wine community through grants, educational programming and events.

Recipe for Success will be onsite with their Hope Farms Rolling Green Market filled to the brim with freshly harvested organic veggies ready for you to take home, along with some delicious fun for all ages, including tastings, easy recipes and games like Veggie Jeopardy, Carrot Peeling Contests, Garden Haikus and help signing up for their free VegOut! Challenge game. They will also have a traveling version of our Hope Farm Store with aprons, cookbooks, t-shirts and fun, food related gifts for sale.

Grow Together ™ Event @ Houston Polo Club

Let’s Grow, Girl! is kicking-off Grow! Together ™

We can’t help but be excited about our first Grow! Together event and hope you will be there with us! So many have asked how to join the fun and get involved, so we’ve partnered with Houston Polo Club to make that happen.

Start with a Meet & Greet with Let’s Grow, Girls Belinda Rowell, Miranda Sevcik, and Suzanne Williams and guest. Enjoy light bites and welcome refreshment, learn about the sport of polo, pet the horses, meet the riders, and watch a polo match.

It is tailgate-style and plenty of tables and chairs will be provided. Feel free to bring your cute fancy chair to show off your stuff.
